Pilares hasn't done diddly poo. Gettis ran the deep vertical well 2 years ago......

We are still too heavily dependent on an aging Steve Smith. One who has been known to have things break on him fairly frequently

I agree on the defensive holes....but I wouldn't be upset with one of the 2 WRs

Brandon LaFell and Greg Olson say hello.

Brandon LaFell is a nice piece to a puzzle. So is Olsen. Smitty still has the offense on his shoulders to a large degree....

We will see this year. If LaFell and Gettis can stay healthy we will know what we have at WR. I've seen good things from both every time I have watched them.

2004- broken leg
2009- broken arm
2010- broken arm

2 of the breaks didn't result in major lost time due to when they occured.

3 breaks. He also plays like a maniac even in the preseason. Carolina eventually in the near near future is going to need to draft Cam his WR

3 injuries frm our best WR, EVER! That did not result in a great deal of lost time, Over a 10+ year career is not frequent. Yes we do need to get a future #1 WR but not now. If it aint broke, don't fix it, fix what's broke!

Well, next year when we draft at 32 we won't have this dilemma!!!!
If and a BIG if the defense heals and stays healthy, I don't think we in to much trouble there with exception of Corner.
Would think from what I've read some good CB's will fall into 2nd rd. Hope Floyd falls to 9!!!!

Floyd and a host of others will still be on the board at nine. If these draft gurus ever got the top 10 right we wouldn't even need the draft we could just go ahead and buy the jersey of the guy that was predicted.

And he would still have it if Floyd is on the team.

My money is on Micheal Floyd....less three and outs and the best defense is a good offense...the nfl is changing. Sooner than later we are be watching professional flag footbal....Corners and recievers....

This is the dumbest poo ever. I love how people think we will score 45 points a game if we draft a WR in this draft.

5th scoring offense
7th in yards

more scoring drives from 80+yards then any other offense.

All this with a rookie QB, new Coaching staff and system, in a lockout offseason.

The best Defense is a Defense.
Ask the Packers, Saints, and Lions.

Defense no such thing in the NFL these days you can't even hit anyone....besides New york wasn't even the best team in the NFC east and they won the superbowl!!! get in the playoffs and at least get a chance to compete. Being able to score....remember when we had a good defense....

Tell the Ravens, and 49ers who were both a few plays from the superbowl.

Hell tell the Broncos and Texans who made the playoffs because of their defense.

Giants won the superbowl because of their Dline.

the NFL is all about balanced, and right now our failing defense means we are not a balanced team. rivera understands this. his statements that we will fill in the areas in which we are underachieving is not just rhetoric or coachspeak.

the defense will be addressed.
