Again, I doubt you'd be saying that if he does get injured and we put Clausen in there. Cam out for four games? there goes our playoff hopes with Clausen in there. (Anderson won't be there forever)

Rivera himself said he doesn't think DT is our biggest concern. Now we have Neblett and Ron Edwards? A pass rusher is what we need and that alone will help our CB's. (not to mention Hardy and our new DB coach)

LOL! No way is he there in the fifth. I'd be surprised if he makes it to us in the fourth. What big boards have you been reading??

Yeah...again here....he's projected to go fourth-fifth round. It's possible he goes earlier, but I REALLY doubt this one.

I do appreciate your analysis though and we will certainly see by this weekend.

To your first point, you don't draft a backup QB in the third with as many holes and positions as this team needs to shore up. Not to mention you could go and sign Dennis Dixon off the street and he's a better version of Cam then Wilson.

Second, you ever hear of coach talk? DT is a pretty big need. We have a run stuffer in Edwards, but still need a pass rush from the position. That's why Coples makes a ton of sense, he's scheme versatile. First and second down you play him at DE, third you play him at DT with Hardy out at end.

Third, we'll see. I think the kid is going to slide a lot further then most think because of his height, but you could be right.

Last, on Joe Adams. He won't be there in the fourth. There's a reason most teams fans/beat writers mock him to their respective teams in the fourth, because he is a special player who can play so many positions. He's an absolute weapon. You can put him in the slot, let him take direct snaps, put him at tb, let him return, the possibilities are endless. Guys with that kind of potential don't go in the fourth, they just don't. I would be willing to put money on some team somewhere between the top-mid of round three snatching him up.

I actually like Dixon as a backup, but how old is he? We're a young team and I believe we will continue to build through the draft. We have already met with Russell Wilson, so I believe the interest is there, it's just a matter of what round he falls to where the Panthers see him as BPA.

As far as the DT's...you're right. They DO have the run stuffed. Guess who doesn't? Hardy. Pass rush? DT's, currently, not so much, but then again I don't think Hardy is the greatest Pass Rusher either. He's a great third-down rotational player, but I don't see him as a full time starter at this point. I believe if we trade back because Cox is gone, then the best pass rusher available would be a DE at that point. Mercilus, Branch, Jones, Curry....etc.

I agree Joe Adams probably won't be there in the fifth, I think (hope) he makes it to our fourth and we pull the trigger on him.

Oops! Edited mock draft. I meant to have the highest OG available, not OT. Replaced Massie with Kevin Zeitler.

I dont want wilson because I want him to start somewhere and he will. He is an amazing talent and some team is going to get real lucky when they draft. At NCSU he did things that where out of this world.

I'm glad someone here sees it. I think he'll be an NFL starter for sure one day. I'd rather give up a third rounder to have someone like him than a 5th to take someone like Pickles.

Is that it?

No, u reached on a undersized de. De isn't that big a need to me. Yeah u should take a DE that is or might be elite but not mercilus. He would never see the field bc hardy is way better. Only pick out if this is the punter and u took Him in the 5th. If we traded back like your mock predicts then I think we take whatever prospects falls to us. Fr example if Floyd Kuechly or any of the premier prospects fall. Otherwise they will take one of the corners IMO
