Toundra

Terrell Mcclain

I really want Cox or Coples in this draft. Hopefully we can get a good CB in the second as well.

Better value at DE in the second compared to CB (unless Jenkins is there)

Yes 97, the one who is getting stopped dead in his tracks every play. This is McClain, he falls on a ball in this vid and does absolutely nothing else, except for the previously mentioned pirouette and junk bump of James Anderson. That is all, simple and plain, I have nothing against McClain and hope he succeeds. This video on the other hand shows nothing for him and he did not show anything all year, I just cannot see what you like about him in this vid.

A rookie keep 2 players buzy on each play, opening holes for his teammates and you don't like him?

The play with Anderson is a perfect exemple, 2 players of the offensive line are rushing Mcclain and so a hole is opened in the middle imediatly exploited by Anderson.. SACK

Usually takes a few years to develop a great DT. Not every DT is Suh a lot just cant come in and dominate guys who have been in the trenches for years.

College OL<<<<<<<<<NFL Veteran of 4+ years

McClain will be a beast. The people saying McClain sucks are the same people wanting to cut Chris Gamble last year. Idiots.

This.

Both McClain Fua Played about the way I expected a 3rd rd DT to play as a rookie....especially given no offseason and forced to start both.

I expect significant improvement this year.

My hopes are he has a marked improvement this year, which is feasible considering he will now have had a year in a nfl workout regiment.

I say its Greg Hardy that has a breakout year however, it is his 3rd season (usually the breakout year for DE's) I think he gets 10.5 sacks 48 tackles and 4 ff's.

Screw Fua but I agree with McClain. I still can't understand how we get the smallest Samoan playing football.

Who has said that they should? I don't know about everyone else but that isn't what I expected. But it doesn't change the fact that last year, they sucked. Doesn't mean they can't improve. Just that, last year, they were garbo.

Just like it didn't mean Clausen couldn't improve when people said he was crap in 2010 which he was.

it's been said.. obviously not by everyone... and sure they sucked, it was expected, that's what some folk don't understand.

It's not just Fua. Our starting D-line is undersized in my opinion. Not to say people that size can't get it done, but it is tougher given the size of O-linemen today.

Fua looks way too small to play over the center. CJ is really good, but on the small side. I think Fua is like 6' even, CJ and McClain are 6'2", and Hardy is a bit better at 6'4". With the exception of Fua, all are under 300 lbs.

I think that is one reason why we saw some improvement when Kearse and Shirley played.
