TO is 6'4

And Nicks is a great possession WR is awesome hands. Doesnt really have elite / break away speed.

I don't think you can pass Blackmon up if we aren't trading down. The value would be very good the we couldn't pass him up regardless if it's as big a need as CB/DL or not.

Offense isnt out problem.

This is an insanly deep WR class.

Blackmon isnt an elite talent.

Conventional wisdom says to draft defense first then WR later.

Why don't you relax its not likely he will be around at 9 anyway.

opinions are in bold.

Defense bigger problem than offense. FACT. Check the rankings

Deep WR class. FACT only an uninformed idiot would try to argue different.

Blackmon isnt elite. FACT. put the pipe down if you would try to say he is on Calvin, Andres, Fitz, Moss, Green level.

I guess the last statement could be opinion...

fitz was drafted 3rd overall... not exactly a sleeper.

Not a sleeper....best WR in his class. Not sure everyone had the Pitt WR inked in as a NFL great though

There were knocks on Megatron coming out....great physical specimen but couldn't make a play against the likes of Clemson?

Hindsight makes some comparison not really fair....

Message boards are for opinions right?

Draft debate is fun and this whole conversation is the the birthing of all fantasy sports...to prove I know more about players i have no control over with money and a stastical measure.

Although I love Hakeem Nicks this would be a luxury pick...if by chance a Kalil who is elite..that is who you cannot pass up.

I don't think you know the definition of a FACT.

fact

o·pin·ion/əˈpinyən/

  • A view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.

I don't think anyone here said he was on there level maybe you would like to show me where we did?

He isn't worth a top 5 pick like the guys you mentioned but he is easily worth a pick from 8-14.

Fact: Justin Blackmon is 6'1" and T.O. is 6'3".

Opinion: Justin Blackmon is not as talented as T.O.

Understand the difference?

I think the people saying no to Blackmon underestimate how deadly of a weapon he could be with Smitty on the other side of the field and Olsen splitting the middle. This is an extremely deep draft at A LOT of positions, not just WR. We can easily get a good player on the defensive front or CB at #40. If Blackmon is there you take him and Cam thanks you for it.....
