If we are willing to move Beason from the middle, why not just keep Connor? And use this pick somewhere else like DE or CB.

Because Connor got exposed as barely average overall and absolutely pitiful in coverage. Connor couldn't hold Keuchly's jock.

Conner was nothing more than a run specialist with great instincts but athleticly limited...justifying why guys in underwear run around cones at the combine.

A guy productive in college but is subpar in measurables...drops from a first round pick to third where Hurney pounces on the fallen top graded players (Kalil, Jarrett, Brown, Conner)

Kuechley was incredible in college and destroyed the measurables with no offfield concerns...

This is a pick that may make you scratch your head now. In 6 years you will look back on this moment fondly. Clearly the Panthers didn't like something about the other prospects on the board. I have to trust their judgement.

If he can cover the TE's we face, absolutely worth the pick.

Dude is an athlete that's for sure... wtf does it take to get a star in bench press? 27 reps is damn impressive.

Not sure...probably either top 5 or top 10. Can't recall.

I just looked it up... out of the linebackers that lifted, 5 did more than 27 (the most was 36) and 2 did 27 as well. So strength wise, he's in the top 10 in his class too... with his speed that is very impressive.

dont like the pick, but i will accept it.bpa on defense i hope we can now get the bpa dl or Jenkins in the 2nd. with that being said our d would look better with another starter, and we got one.odd man out is TD.

Starting to like this pick more, just as long as we ****** a good DT or CB in the 2nd.

Edit: Honestly? We can't say s.natch?
