I'd rather go O-line in the 2nd round this yr than spending a 1st rounder next yr on an o-linemen which prob would have happened if we didnt address it. Also, i've never seen a more impressive highlight tape for a linemen than this guy

This is called drafting BPA, it's how championships are won.

then lets win one

Don't we always draft BPA? I just want to understand why we dont have a championship. I don't think we should gamble, its just not a true statement. Elite QB play, and Elite D-Line, is how championship are won. You usally have to get those in the first.

People have two kinds of BPA (especially on this board), even though there is really only one BPA which refers to before the draft.

People like to look at how players play after they are drafted and somehow come up with a BPA then for where they were taken, which makes zero sense unless you're going to specifically label it and compare it as 'post-BPA'. Even if someone were to choose BPA every single draft, it has absolutley nothing to do with a player actually becomming successful in the NFL, it just means the player who appears most likley to succeed.

This dude is a killer. Someone mentioned they hadn't heard of him, but that would only be b/c they weren't focused on OL. He was being projected as early as late 1st & I didn't see him dropping out of the 2nd at all. He is nasty & has a attitude to kill...even tho I wanted CB or DE, I think we will end up liking this pick this year or next at thew latest.

I really like this pick. I prefer my OL players have a bit of a mean streak and all indications are this guy has that. DWill and JStew are going to love running behind his guy.

A+ on this pick.

His negatives are that he's a little unrefined (small school) and too mean and aggressive sometimes. Oh no.

He's also been compared to Jahri Evans with some added athleticism.

I love this pick.

I honestly believe both of our first two picks will be pro-bowlers within 3 years.

This guy is gonna be a monster.

Great draft so far from a BPA standpoint.

Good news is we tend to pick our offensive line players pretty well.

Geesh....seems like the board has been infested with idiots who have the football understanding/knowledge of pre-pubescent girls.

Maybe now they will all just leave.

I don't care about drafting o-line, but I honestly have no idea. Was this the best o-lineman available?

I wanted us to pick him. He was projected as 1st rounder. I love it.
