Per my source. However with his knees it doesn't mean he is like his old self.

I'm sure this has to be his last chance. If he goes down again, he is done

Correction: Thomas Davis will TRY TO return.

Everyone expects him to. Some people just don't know when to take their millions and walk away. It's not "quitting" when your body won't cooperate.

One thing I found interesting, is after drafting Kuechly we didn't draft anymore LB depth OR bring in any UFA LBs. I don't think there are enough guys on the roster to create real decent depth if Davis or Beason have trouble with their injuries.

Two positions I think we will address before camp are LB and DT, for obvious reasons. Maybe picking up guys that are cut or snatching a few guys that are still out there.

Wish him all the best. Hope he quits before he suffers long term every day impairment.

What's that snapping sound?

Too soon?

At least we're talking knee ligament and not brain matter like Dan Morgan.

At some point with athletes.... Franchises and organizations are the ones he simpy need to force an athletes hand and make them do what they should

Even with Dan Morgan, he signed on with the Saints before again re-retiring. So it's not always under the Franchise's control.
Praise Alah we never actually had to see Morgan put on an Aint uni.

The nice thing about taking Kuechly is it allows us to use TD situationally. He can occasionally come in on passing downs and perhaps blitzes.

I don't expect him to make it through the year even as a part-timer, but I'm glad we are giving him the chance.
