Some of the more popular names seem to be Voodoo, Krewe or Brass. I read Benson owns the rights to the Pelicans and maybe the Voodoo also.

Spirit seems an odd choice since former owners of the ABA St Louis Spirit still get compensation from NBA teams formerly part of the ABA. Not sure if that group would have any standing to oppose New Orleans adopting it or not. There is still occasional talk of a team returning to St Louis.

Angels kinda goes with Saints**. It would probably be the easiest and depending on the designs might actually work well for them.

I think this name would be great for them too. Of course, the name is already in use in New Orleans by another team. At one time, Tom Benson was part owner of the original team with this name.
