dbulls874 14 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 ok guys, thanks for advices... in italy usually during the games, you cannot wear away's jersey if you stay with home fans... here the risk to have fight is high... i've been in NY, for Nets @ Knicks and in Miami for Thunder @ Heat (with Westbrook jeresey) without problem... but i will follow your advices! i will be there without any jersey! I've worn my panthers jersey to a game in Philly, it was fine. A couple of good-natured "A$$-HOLE!" chants and getting booed by an entire subway car was all that happened. Don't antagonize anyone and you'll be treated fine. Also, stay with the crowds. South Philly isn't a good place for a visitor to wander around alone at night, but neither is it all that treacherous. nickzz 1,208 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 Listen to this man. Philly has the worst fans in the NFL. They're like the English hooligans, to put it in futbol terms yeah, if you're a huge pussy. if my friend can sit in the middle of thousands of eagles fans wearing a TONY ROMO jersey this guy will fine. WEAR YOUR SMITH JERSEY!

d-run 83 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 To answer the original question, there is a spot along the fence of the player's parking lot where fans stand to get autographs as the players arrive before the game. It is located near S Graham on the side of the stadium with no fan entrance. Downsides to trying to get an autograph this way: - There is limited space and you need to get there early (~10 am) - Players trickle in at all different times. - Was told Cam doesn't like to sign before games - The players aren't wearing jerseys so you have to know their face which can be hard when it comes to the lesser known guys - You miss out on prime tail-gating time
Rook35200 154 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 Most NFL stadiums are very safe but Philadelphia is one of the worst. You should try Oakland
jayflip 4,873 Report post Posted May 7, 2012 Hey it's always cool to have euro-fans! Welcome to the huddle. You should be fine wearing 89 in Philly. Huddler DFive flew there from SD and rocked his 34 and lived. But remember, Philly fans killed Santa, so there is reason for caution. If you have a black jersey, where that one, for beer will be "spilled" on you. It'll be a Monday night game and that means the trash that roams Philly will be extra trashy.
