Going to just chime in and say don't wear Panthers gear in Philly. I wore Panthers gear to Ford Field once and got beer and hot dogs thrown at me during the game. Same type of fans in Philly, if not worse.

Most NFL stadiums are very safe but Philadelphia is one of the worst.

Never been there but I've never heard anything good about those rednecks...and it's gonna be a night game on top of that...that means drunk rednecks....proceed with caution!

It just shows you the level of intelligence of these mentioned fans. Only an idiot would waste a $9 beer to dump on someone.

You've got to realize though that a lot of these fan bases are poor, depressed, and disgruntled. Just add alcohol.

You will be fine, wear the Jersey. The reason people have problems is because they are assholes to begin with. Be a humble visitor and have fun with it.

I've seen many of our redneck fans starting poo with visitors for no reason too. I've seen them pour beer on visitors for no reason, and knock drinks and food out of their hands. I saw one asshole agree to trade jerseys with a Pats fan and then just grab the guys Jersey and throw it off the ramp and run away.

He is probably used to attending Soccer games which make even the craziest football game look like a church picnic.

Did you hear the one about the Eagles fan who gagged himself and threw up on a teenage girl sitting in front of him simply because she was wearing a Giants jersey? Don't think I've heard of that happening anywhere else.

How about the youtube vid of the Cardnials fans getting escorted out of Lincoln Financial Field because Eagles fans were throwing snowballs at them... they were minding their own business watching the game and were getting pelted in the head with snowballs to the point that the police feared for their safety and escorted them out.

I'm not saying anything of these things will happen to you if you show up at an Eagles game wearing the opposing team's jersey, but why pay good money to attend a game in a place where stuff like this happens on a regular basis?

To the OP, I hope you have a great time and wish you luck in getting those autographs... I think you should wear your jersey if you want, I just want to make sure you understand what you may be getting yourself into.
