I decided today to be as good a day as any for my monthly trip to Victory Lane Indoor Karting for my self evaluated time-trial. Long story short, I walked in.. and there, in the lobby, sat Deangelo Williams and two other guys (I don't think either of them were players). I went about my business, trying not to be a homer.

After my first stint, Williams and his boys came out into the track area to try their hand at it. They jawed about with the workers for a few moments before strapping in. D-Will had the fast time of the bunch at a 47.8X. My fast lap rang in at a 45.2X for comparison and I'm 5'7 100lbs. Fast lap of the day is 43.XX. Fast lap for a league driver would be a 41.XX.

I only ran that one stint and then I was done. I go there to train and see where the weak points are in my body (I plan on running their league once up to snuff).

On my way out I shook his hand and wished him luck on the forthcoming season. He acknowledged in appreciation and said thank you.

It was a pretty good day.

You might want to try your hand at it before snarling off condescending remarks. These are racing Karts which can reach speeds of 45mph. The forces put on your core and arms are actually quite strenuous, even to those in shape, sir.

I've never had the privilege to meet a panthers player before. Even if I did have an opportunity I'd keep my distance for the reason that I believe that they might not want to be bothered.

This was my thought as well. Some douche there asked for a picture.. A simple handshake I figured was harmless enough.

There was indeed a fellow who's racer name was whitie. lol. He used the name Predator and the other dude was Arabian Nightmare.
