You mean the only rookie corner we have lol.

Apparently Norman has started to make strides but I don't think he will see the field very much if at all this year.

In my opinion, we keep Gamble, Hogan, Butler, Munnerlyn, and Norman.

- Gamble starts
- Hogan starts
- Butler rotates in and out with Hogan
- Munnerlyn is our nickel corner.
- Norman sees limited action on defense, plays a lot of special teams, maybe a possible gunner as he is a pretty good tackler.

is fox still coaching this team?

There is no way he has a lot of confidence in Cap after last year. Captain wasn't reliable in anything but nickel coverage last year.

Rivera must have a lot of stock in Hogan.

ohhhh so you're in agreement with me...Cool

Norman showed he still has a lot to learn and Rivera has already said that he doesn't want to rush Norman into anything. Don't ask for the link because he said it in a video. I believe it's somewhere on the panthers website but I'm not sure.

Norman has made strides according to Rivera but he is logged down there on the depth chart. He could see time in four wide out sets but I don't see him jumping Butler this year. He may jump Munnerlyn though, but I'm not sure if Norman has any experience as a nickel corner.

Hogan is a beast in waiting. If his knee holds up, I'm expecting him to begin to make a name for himself this year. Moreover, I am not going to sell Norman short as a backfield regular this year. Dude appreciates studying film, and I believe he has the physical gifts to make a surprising impact.

I agree that RR is counting on Hogan or Butler developing, or we would have taken one higher than the 5th.

Watch our roster moves between now and the close of camp. If we pick one up, it probably tells us that these two haven't progressed sufficiently.

I find it highly improbable we go into the season counting on Captain as the #2 or #3 CB.

I knew I was gonna get ripped on the captain, but he's on the roster so I ain't sellin him down the river yet. I agree that he's best at nickel and not a start but he shows a lot of effort. And our d was so gapped up last year he probably spent more time out there than he should've. Just sayin, that i trust this coaching staff to bring out his best. here's hopin!
