Racist.
(I agree.)
I thought his overall strategy and proposal was better. But, my opinion means poo....just like it does in my home.

No doubt. Hindsight is 20/20 but the NBA made a "PR" move with giving the chance to Johnson. Wow. That worked out well for everyone involved.
Top to bottom, Larry Bird is the best player/person to ever be affiliated with the NBA.

Well Hatter is white isnt he? And the only people Ive seen yearn for Bird as an OWNER were white. Only ones I seen characterize Bob getting the team as a PR move were local whites likike MrTD. Where are the hordes of blacks who feel like you guys feel, holding that 8 year grudge? Why is it one demographic?
IIRC, the NBA didn't think the financial backing for Larry's goup was as strong as Bob Johnson's.
It is unfortunate that the NBA couldn't have convinced the two groups to join forces though.
Who in their right mind would be opposed to having a winner like Larry Bird associated with the franchise?
It is not unreasonable to believe that Larry Bird's abilities as player, coach and president would have had a significant positive impact on this organization.
Anyone that likes a winner, likes Larry Bird.

Pacers have a lot of talent. I like what he has done with that team and they could easily shock a lot of people and beat the Heat.
They're balling hard now, looking good. I think they can get past the heat, not sure if they can go all the way.
