Alex Smith was a good quarterback last year, not great.

He also needs to realize that Jim Harbaugh put a leash on him so he didn't make stupid ass decisions like he so commonly did before Harbaugh's arrival.

He needs to be thankful that he still has a job most teams wouldn't have stuck with a player like him as long as the 49ers did.

Harbaugh needs to quit feeding Smith and Crabtree garbage. They are good players but they are not great players.
