A Letter To Alex Smith From Me

I enjoyed it. Don't mind the smartasses.

IIRC, you were not at all sold on Cam pre-draft, so it's nice to see you defend him.

Basically all you had to say is:

Dear Mr Smith:

Cam is an entertainer and icon. You, however, are a perpetrator and I yawn.

Sincerely,

Unconcerned Panthers Fan.

OK, maybe it's lame too, but if I'm going to be lame, I'd rather keep it short. Sorry.

lol @ people coming to a message board typing a message to tell someone else he's wasting time by typing a message.

its time for another "our fanbase is stoopid" thread

I would have made sure to point out that the NFC West is so weak, that our 2-14 squad from 2010 finished .500 against that division. That includes a win over San Fran, a game in which Alex Smith started.

I probably would have included 2011 when telling Alex Smith his record as a starter.

Go ahead and send it to him. Sounds spot on to me.

Well, you have a point, but I think you're missing my point. if I see a letter to someone, I am expecting something epic, not a diatribe and collection of points that had been discussed ad nauseum.

I am not saying it's like going on a blind date that your friend set up and finding out that your date is a fugly horse, but it's kinda like opening a Father's Day gift that your kids have pumped you up about, but turns out to be a tie.

Seriously? First off tl/dr, But I love how you say letter to Alex Smith, but really it is just a letter to the huddle for us to read in hopes of everyone telling you how cool you are. So lame.

No, not really. I hesitated to post because I know that there are people on this board who gain self-esteem by attacking others' opinions.

My history on here suggests that your opinion is incorrect. I do not try to win pie or kiss any asses. Why do you feel it was your place to anayze me? Because you are doing what you accuse me of doing. However, you are only interested in being a smart ass. Thanks to the internet, you probably get your ass kicked less often than you would without it, assuming you had the balls to say something like that to people in person. I doubt you would have in my case. You would simply have shut up and cursed the fact that you have no outlet to make you feel like a man.

    • Just from the movie. I didn't guess that she was bringing all the black dudes in, but I knew right away the family was collecting blacks and the mom was using hypnosis to keep them there. I was like, yep ... evil white people. Neat.
    • Has a visit with Carolina. Ran under a 7 second 3 cone drill. Underrated blocker, go watch him matched up vs Texas A&M. Reminds me of Jordan Reed and is bigger and faster than him when he entered the league
    • ive dug and dug on Cam Robinson. more and more i think hes had bad coaching at Alabama. most scouts say that he has different footwork from one play to the next. when his footwork is right, hes a badass. he haS bad habits, but is the most talented big man in the draft when it comes to upside. he needs a great OL coach.  worst case he can start at right tackle tomorrow. then we could move daryl to guard if tray and norwell both leave. he gives us a lot of options and can be a dominant left tackle if he can get consistent footwork.  he handled Garrett. he didnt handle carl lawson. lawson is a tactician, thats why he could take advantage of robinsons bad habits.
