Cbs Top 100

So, according to Pete Prisco, we have four players worthy of the top 100. Steve Smith was the highest rated at number 46, right behind Trent Cole and just ahead of Champ Bailey. Jordan Gross clocked in at 68. I find it hard to rate O lineman because... their O lineman. Not flashy, justed rugged, hardworking, behemoths. You only really notice them when they're bad. Atleast thats my opinion. Cam Newton came in at 83, which I can understand because he's a rookie and needs to prove he can be a consistent nightmare. And, finally, chris gamble came in at 93. Nice to see him get some recognition.

Charles Johnson and Ryan Kalil got honorable mentions.

I can't believe Gamble made the list. He deserves it though.

Gamble actually got a lot of recognition form the announcers during the games. Mainly just saying he was having a solid season and was the star of the secondary after having an off season.

list is a joke. Kalil is one of the best players at his position, VERY IMPORTANT POSITION, in football and he's not in the top 100.

Not bad we have 4 players on the list. He based it off 2011 season, keep in mind, that's why there is no Beason....we were 6-10, new HC, system, etc... I'm happy with 4/100 which you got to think, means we are recognized for talent.

Lol ware is the most overrated player in the NFLs history. Anyone who thinks hes the best player in the league thats not a quarterback should not be allowed on the internet.

I'm still trying to figure out how Darren Sprole is the "modern prototype for the NFL back."

top 100 lists are nice to look at but football is a team sport. Having guys on the list isn't as important as having a bunch of guys who play well together. We have a ton of players who are vitally important to the team who won't be making any lists. Who really cares who is ranked where anyway based on the past. Last year's list is really ancient history at this point.

from our division, I count

the Saints* with 4 and 1 HM,

the Falcons with 4,

and the Bucs with 1,

vs. our 4 and 2 HM, and doesn't include Beason because he was out last year. Time for us to win some games.
