Bottle of champagne is ready for door #1, bottle whiskey is ready for door #2, 3 and 4. I intend to finish one or the other by nights end.

lol the worst team in NBA history and they gotta draw to see who gets first pick, don't make sense to me. The NBA makes no sense
in their draft B Cats had worse team they should draft 1st and until that is fixed no NBA for me

It is a harsh reality when you are in the position of the Bobcats. They clearly finished last this year, because they flat out sucked.

I am sure many teams in the past, knowing they have no shot at the playoffs, tanked for a certain player - hence the top 3 lottery system. Bobcats are guaranteed a top 4 pick. Which means probably Davis, MKG, Robinson or Drummond.

The lottery calls out the draft order from 14 to 1. Here is how it should pan out. If you hear a team picking a spot below where they should be, it means a 4 through 14 team hit the top 3.

14. Houston
13. Phoenix
12. Milwaukee
11. Portland.
10. New Orleans
9. Detroit
8. Toronto
7. Golden State
6. Portland
5. Sacramento
4. New Orleans
3. Cleveland
2. Washington
1. Charlotte

Correct me if I am wrong on that order btw.

On the scale of "Stern owes the pick to XYZ franchise"...MJ was one of, if not the hardest owners against the players in the CBA agreements this past year. Stern better remember MJ was fighting for his ass.

I have a weird feeling the Hornets are gonna get the 1st pick.

I am honestly terrified of this scenario... the only thing that would suck more than the Bobcats missing out on AD is to watch the Hornets get the pick.

If the draft lottery was ever going to be fixed, now is the time... the NBA owes it to MJ.

As a bobcats season ticket holder....I must say I think it's Davis or bust. Getting Davis not only improves the team on the court but it also makes us more enticing for a good head coach.

I hate to be so dramatic but this seriously going to decide this franchises future.

I agree with those who say fix the lottery. Lets be real, the Bobcats were not just bad, they were the worst team in the history of the NBA.

If the Bobcats don't get the first pick in this draft, I'm going to be so pissed. With the way the NBA is, I understand why they like the idea of a draft in principle, but I think it fails because it actually encourages teams that are outside of the playoff hunt to attempt to lose just to improve lottery chances. I mean, what the fug?

Apparently the Brooklyn Nets pick is top 3 protected due to their trade with Portland, does that mean if say they get the #1 pick they keep it or what exactly?
