This draft is basically Lebron James at #1 and Darko-fuging-Milicic as #2

That's how much of a dropoff between the top player and the second in this draft. Whoever this team chooses at #2 will be solely potential based, which fuging blows.

Drummond fits the bill.

None of that is remotely true, unless you think Anthony Davis is comparable to Lebron as a prospect (he's not) and you think Drummond is getting drafted number 2 (oh god I hope not)

This draft is deep and Davis is not the 2nd coming of Jesus. Plenty of talented player to be had

That's a Charlotte Hornets hat. He got it from some friends that live in Charlotte and him and his family were very hopeful he would be able to play for MJ in Carolina.

This would be a perfect draft for us if this team were selecting at 9 or 15. The problem is we're not.

Outside of Davis there are NO franchise worthy players in this draft. Tons of talent and potential is not saving next season.

MY comparison very easily holds true here, NO will be getting there Lebron/Kobe/Durat/Duncan while we'll be getting our Milicic or second rate high potential pipe dream player.

Drummond very easily fits the bill of that second rate high potential high bust rate type player. This draft is stocked in potential, but MJ needed his seat filler, and he got butt fuged yesterday.

Thats silly, hell the draft you keep bringing up had Wade, Melo, and Bosh all go after Darko- and plenty of people thought Darko was the better prospect. Stop speaking in absolutes, you sound silly. There is a decent chance Anthony Davis is not the best player in this draft. And I'd bet money that he wont win rookie of the year

This draft has plenty of talent in the top 5 and there will absolutely be multiple all stars to come out of it. Anthony Davis was not turning around the Bobcats next season, stop being so melodramatic

I'm speaking in absolutes yet your entire whitewall of rehashed nonsense doesn't attack any of my main points. You're the only person who doesn't believe that Anthony Davis isn't the top player in this draft, due to your naivety or not that's absolute horse poo.

And I'm going to repeat myself yet again, Jordan is going to miss out on his Cam Newton and get stuck with a Marcell Dareus or worse this year. Which isn't entirely bad, but for this franchise it will definitely be felt.

And shame on you for comparing any persons in this draft outside of Anthony Davis to the other notable players of the 2003 draft. That's fuging stupid.

My question is there any chance that New Orleans doesn't take Davis?

Only if MJ and Rod Higgins were calling the shots for New Orleans

Rico, trying to speak logically and have a legit convo with Thatlookseasy is a waste of time. He's one of the dukefags I've been arguing with about college basketball the past two months. He's on the same side as grits if that tells you anything. The clown dismissing Davis just shows you how delusional and uninformed he is, but I guess that truly sums up the entire fan base.

Also according to this bozo, we may as well not even have the NCAA tourney next year and just give everything to duke.

Actually I do believe Anthony Davis is the best player in the draft, he has the potential to be an elite defender, but until he adds more strength I dont think he will be an all star or franchise player that you are looking for. The bobcats will probably be bottom 3 next year, Davis doesnt change that. Davis does not immediately make this team a contender, you still need other good players to build around.

I'm sorry I didnt attack any of your main points, because I didnt think you made any. You basically think Davis is basically a hall of famer and nobody else in the draft is even decent. That is bullshit, this draft has plenty of talent. MKG will be a very good player, and I think Beal and Robinson can also be good. Draft a good player and keep rebuilding, the bobcats are at least 3 good players away from building a good team.

I'm sorry you think none of the players in the draft compare to the 2003 guys, but those guys were unproven when they were drafted too. Its a crapshoot often, but if you think Davis will be the only great player to come out of this draft you are crazy- even in terrible draft years like last year there are good players to be found

Might want to check your memory on that one big guy, I'm currently a rising senior at UNC

You should revisit the multitude of discussions of the 2003 draft where almost every analyst unanimously agreed that every team within the top 5 would be drafting a franchise player that year. Your saying that these guys in this draft class have every amount of capability to become franchise players is an outright insult to you and me. The next best player after Davis is MKG and even his comparative ceiling is to that of Gerald-fuging-Wallace; however, that's not an entire reason to disprove this draft, I'm not doing that nor am I trying to, but to say "Derp Derp we'll be fine with _____ _____" is just making this pill harder to swallow.

If anything this draft is more resembling to 2004's draft where Orlando weaseled by with Dwight while we got pinned with Oak and every player outside of those two were highly talented and high potential players, but where asterisked with the same high bust rate sidenotes.

Whoever we draft at #2 will definitely be overdrafted and for this recent record setting team, that just might destroy Jordan and his team.

Eh, maybe they wont be franchise players but if we could land a guy who makes multiple all star appearances I'm not going to lose sleep over what could have been with Davis. Also for what its worth I've always thought those "Gerald Wallace as a ceiling" comparisons for MKG sold him short. He is FAR more talented than Gerald was at this point in his career and he has a knack for getting to the basket and finishes well when he gets there. I've though he could be more like Igoudala, or maybe a young Joe Johnson (not as good a passer as those 2 though) and could be really special if he develops some kind of jump shot.

Actually the 2004 draft had some doubt at the number 1 pick, most people thought Dwight and Okafor were easily the top 2 players and a lot of people though Okafor should have gone 1 (you might have a hard time finding those people now). IMO its more like the 09 draft- an obvious number 1 (Griffin) and a bunch of guys who were talented but unspectacular, plus one talentless big man drafted too high becuase of his potential

you dont draft a defensive stopper #2 in the NBA Draft. No to MKG.

I'd take Drummond just for his potential, man the BobsCats got absolutely screwed.
