Panthers RT Jeff Otah underwent an MRI on the knee that's bothered him the past 2 yrs. Ron Rivera said Otah tweaked it recently.

Dude just cant stay healthy. Low threshold for pain coupled with being injury prone just does not work out in the NFL.

I honestly think Thomas Davis has a better chance of being a solid contributor this year than Otah does. We need to not even consider Otah being healthy when predicting how this season is going to go the odds are that low. He'll never start another game for this team.

Joe Person
Ron Rivera was asked whether Otah looked heavy after being on IR most of last season. "Jeff looks like he always looks," Rivera said. "Big.

Rivera sounds annoyed.

Too bad. I remember when he was known as a "road grader".

Looks like he'll get released and we'll pick up someone in FA. Bell is decent, but shouldn't be counted on to start a full season again.
