Hopefully MKG and Kemba turns out to be a great combo in the future.

You don't have to like the pick but don't act like you know anything about basketball or what a player can do.
I was on Harrison Barnes before the draft but I kept hearing scout after scout saying that when Him and MKG matched up.
Harrison Lost and Knew it.
What do you mean matched up?
According to Harrison, he and MKG never went one on one in draft workouts.

I highly doubt Barnes did that...

They matched up at Highschool AAU circuit and a NBa camp ran by Dave Telep.

Do you have a quote where Barnes says flat out that MKG is the better player?
I'm not saying I don't believe you, I just don't understand why player who is rated so closely to another player would say "he is better than me".

Because the bobcats win total next year is not important. You dont go from the worst team in NBA history to a playoff team in one fuging draft. For the cats, the draft is about getting good pieces to build around, and I think MKG is an excellent prospect.
A few days ago I wouldnt have like this pick as much, but I think Gilchrist will be a good fit next to Ben Gordon (who can shoot all day but cant play any sort of D). MKG will fit in well with the up tempo offense Dunlap is bringing in, hopefully we can bring in some role players who can shoot (like the Spurs seem to find every year)

As one commentator said.....give me a hard working player any day. That is what you got in MKG. He was a solid pick.

btw..Big unc fan here. MKG got the best of him in high school and the game at UK last year.
I still wanted Barnes for offense but MKG is a stud

Anyways, here's to another tank season. At least it'll be an exciting one.

Still not too excited by the pick, never had a problem with the player, but spending a #2 on this guy just kills me.

Wonder who will win the Stern lottery next year?
