NC isn't really the south.

Charlotte isn't really the South.

The rest certainly is.

I knew VA was south of it, but my whole life I thought Maryland was north of it. The Huddle truly is educational.

Texas Beef Brisket is pretty damned good too......some bbq places here even have some pretty good brisket as well.

I'm hungry now.

Who doesn't love the South better?

Me. So glad to finally get out of that humid, racist, boring area of the country.

Oh, some small little town called New York City. I did my share in the South. 36 years. New Orleans, Raleigh, Atlanta, Jackson Mississippi, Charlotte, Durham, and Greensboro.

NY is fun, but you didn't do much to get away from racism or humidity.

Much shorter duration of hot and humid = win. Plus I love cold weather. And it's so multicultural up here it's hard to be as racist as down in Charlotte in such outspoken ways.

Sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of this top shelf marijuana that was delivered & pulled pork that just fell off the bone.

Oh sorry bro I was at the beach.

I don't like delivery, too damn expensive and they take forever. I'd rather just drive down the street.

All the Yankees that keep flocking here (yet at the same time they have no problem ripping on the south, our local teams, and our traditions like sweet tea and boiled peanuts) prove the south is where it's at. It always bugs the hell out of me when I hear neighbors, who have moved here by free will, rip the area and southerners. GTFO and quit putting a strain on our local resources, nobody invited you.

I don't know why you think yankees hate sweet tea in general i love sweet tea

*Takes a bite of a double-double from In n Out*

LOLwut?

You forgot to mention our REAL Mexican food, and the epic beaches full of epic women. I loved my few moments in NC, but god damn San Diego is where I'll die.

Must say, the people in NC are all genuinely nice people though, much better human beings than in Cali. And I've only encountered one racist person in Carolina...

But we have fresh avacados here, so Cali for the win.

Washington DC was seen as a "Southern" Capitol. It was one of the concessions the Northern States made when the nation was formed. Think about how far North Boston is.

People up north are very racists by the way. They may not say it out loud but they do racist things in their every day life whether it's tipping a waitress or hiring employees.

I love our tradtions as much as the next person but does he know the South, especially NC and SC =hot azz, humid, miserable summers...just sayin

it's not necessarily that which is to me off-putting about the south but the simple fact that many of the people there still can't get over the fact that they lost a war that happened 150 years ago and that's where their underlying seething hatred of the north stems from.

A stereotype is not a stereotype if it doesn't assume certain things.
