I do not want to cause a stir. But, if these practices are non contact. How can you tell what ability he truly does possess? I can see on his coverage skills, and how quickly he reads plays and such. But we still do not know if he can do the physical stuff.

I do hope he can bring some talent and attitude to the position. Would be nice not to have to worry about our Safety position.

i don't know...ask beason, you know, the guy that knows a lot more than any of us and who made that comment.

I've heard good things about Nakamura and Smith. Its looking more and more like Martin won't be starting.

Not sure how well someone can judge a guy like Nakamura in OTAs, but I think it says something about our current safeties if he's wowed by the guy in non-contact drills.

According to rayzor, you'll have to ask Beason. He was the one that started all this with his praise of Hakuri.

technique is such a big deal for the secondary, and it's not like Beason hasn't seen Nakamura play before (to know his physicality)

Ethics (work).

Work ethic is the bane of the less talented, and those that wish to be great. As of now, the only folks that know his ability are the Ravens org. Unless you know a Raven, have seen film of their practices, or seen the handfull of plays he axtually has. You kno't know Hakuri.

But hell, if Beason says he is better than Harris. Well, I can live with that, until I get to see for myself. You sheep are for counting not posting. JK

I think Beason meant he has a high football IQ like Harris....but is more athletic. Don't think this kid is a thumper nor was it being implied

A safety isn't really going to be hitting people in practice anyways (even if it was allowed). Obviously Beason is talking about his ability which is evident even without contact drills especially for a safety.

What?

You actually think the world breeds people on a daily basis that can come in and play without putting the work in

Does kinda come off that way a little, doesn't it? Unknown if it was actually meant to be.
