Although the season is still a few months away, SportsCenter has been running a series of division previews.

The NFC South is next in line. The hour-long SportsCenter preview is scheduled to air Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. I’m not privy to all that will be covered in the show, but I’m sure storylines for all four teams will be addressed.

I’ll also have a division-wide post earlier on Tuesday that will tie into this.

So the whole hour is dedicated to the NFCS? Even if we get the shaft for time we should get a solid ten minutes of coverage. Thanks for the heads up.

They will open with the Saints* issues, Brees + Bounty Gate = Fail, then will go to discuss the Bucs, and how they will improve a lot from last year but still need that missing piece. Then they will talk about the Falcons, and how Matt Ryan needs to man up and win some play off games. Then they'll talk about how Cam will be the bestest, and other stuff.

I doubt we get much time. Saints* will get all the pub, then the Bucs for their off season moves, then the Falcons, then finally us.

We'll see. I'm hungry for anything Panthers related right now. I'm hoping it's just going to be a great 1 hr special with lots of info on our Division. Really dont care how much time we get... Our shine will be coming sooner than we all think.

Herm Edwards on if Defense can be as good as offense

"I don't think they'll be as good, but they will be vastly improved, Coach Rivera is an old Defensive minded coach that will start working much more on that side of the ball after having had a yr as HC under his belt.... I'm a little worried about the back end of this defense, the secondary, but I fully expect this defense to be vastly improved"
