How long did it take you to find your mate?

Or better yet, how many partners did you go through before finding the one that made you say. "I'm keeping this one."?


Currently, I've gone through 5 REAL GFs and I can't seem to seal the deal. Won't get into the details of it but I'd like to know from your experiences how many did you go through before getting hitched?


I'm at the point of my life that I just want to settle down, seems I'm the only one though. Which kind of sucks. O_O

Well it's a longer story that that, but anyways being with someone you have a lot in common with and enjoy hanging out with is the most important thing to me. My first marriage, we liked hanging out but we really didn't have a lot in common which killed it years down the road.

Best advice I can give you is know what you want in a future spouse. I never dated throughout high school and half of college because I could never see myself with any of the girls that liked me. If you cannot see yourself marrying a person why date them, at least that was my mindset. Be patience and enjoy time with your friends, the right girl will come along, probably wont even realize it in the moment.
