Mare should have been done after he got cut from the seahawks.. he had no fuging business kicking again after that.

I don't know about that, if Mare bombs pre-season they may really cut him. Rivera is serious about special teams.

Deep down I hope your right but it will cost us a poo load to cut him. Hurney fuged up on that deal and we will suffer for it.

I doubt very seriously that Mare's contract is an overwhelming deciding factor in whether or not they keep him. I think that this current regime values performance over anything else and will eat the money if they feel that he is not able to perform on a level that they expect. Rivera will not allow this team to be hamstrung by a kicker that he doesn't trust to get the job done because of what he gets paid.

Fu** no! Thats why he's been cut so many times. He is wildly inconsistent and below average kicker with 7 seasons in the 70 percentile or below. It was like Hurney closed his eyes and offered a contract to whoever his finger landed on.
