"First off, Greer is New Orleans’ top cornerback and probably the best cornerback in the NFC South."

Gamble? Are you serious? The guy is not a top 5 QB in the NFC South
We are talking about CB's (corner backs) not QB's (what brees was before you lost him)

All I remember of Greer is smitty stiff arming him in the air while holding onto the ball on his way to a TD
Yeah, Smitty man handled him, like kid who grabbed his wife's ass.

Gambles only real off year was 2010
Outside of 2011, he has been an overpaid CB based on his contract extension.
Regardless, with Samuel coming in....Gamble isn't head and shoulders better

This is a common theme from you. IYO do we have anyone on our roster that isn't overpaid!?

I know right, all teams keep great players for cheap.

Smith throughout his career, Kalil, Gross aren't. A lot of key guys are on rookie deals still...
It is a theme to overpay guys in Carolina. That isn't a unique CRA thought. Williams was overpaid. Gamble overall was paid like he was the 2011 CB. Finally played like it

There are teams that overpay consistantly and teams that don't.
NE vs Car....they handle things differently. That can't be argued. That isn't a claim I think we should be like NE....but it is what it is.
Williams, Anderson, CJ all could of been retained for less....being consistant in overpaying everyone eventually limits what else you can do. My beef isn't do much about overpaying one specific player but the consistant trend. Has hurt out ability to have good depth on the roster IMO
