Scottsdale, AZ is # 4?

lol, OK.

Just so we are clear you are against a city with very low unemployment, highly educated community, with little crime, one of the best school systems in the country and 93% of its inhabitants above the poverty rate.

South Carolina logic is South Carolina logic.

Right because professional sports are lining up to start franchises down there.

Just because JR has ties to SC.... If he never started the Panthers, I would suspect someone else would have had a NFL team in NC by now.

No. It's not "just because JR has ties to SC."

Mr. Richardson and his partners had to prove to the NFL that a franchise located in the region would be able to draw enough fan support to be sustainable. Demographics and data were drawn from a region within a radius of Charlotte that included, of course, portions of South Carolina. One of three exhibition games was played in SC (Columbia) to demonstrate the enthusiasm. U.S. senators and governors from both states provided support to the NFL selection committee. I saw presentations by Max Muhleman, the consultant who worked with Mr. Richardson, showing the data ... he was emphatic that without both states being included in the bid, it never would have been successful. Someone doesn't just decide to create an NFL franchise ... a city and owner have to be selected by the NFL, which must see proof that it likely will be successful.
