I'd rather him come here than go to Tampa or Atl.

He also wants a tryout with Miami...

Well if he goes to another division, I don't care. If he comes to ours, I'd want him to play for us, not the other teams in our division.

In North Carolina he likely wouldn't have been charged.

He probably would have considering he was taking a gun into an establishment that served alcohol, but I doubt he would have received the punishment he did in the Commy state of NY. NY has some of the most draconian gun laws ever. I say let that place rot in hell where the law abiding citizen can't defend themselves against criminals who don't care for feel good, rights infringing gun laws.

I would be more inclined to bring him in since he does carry.

Miami has Ocho now so take them out of running for Plax Id think. Would make the offense just unstoppable, offense of the century

With the amount that we will be throwing the ball, Gettis and Lafell would get plenty of opportunities to get on the field and prove/improve themselves. We have plenty of established leaders on this team, so he wouldn't be able to come in and stir things up.

I see no downside for the right price.

He also wants a tryout with Miami...

As would I if I were unemployed... He said "this was the best fit" and then mentioned several reasons why. He can't get much more blatant than that imo.

He is unemployed and has to cover his bases in the event that we don't sign him... C'mon bro think...

Yup!
There's no downfall signing Plax.
For all the people who afraid of Lafell and Gettis losing snaps, if both of them can't beat out Plax, then they shouldn't be the no.2 WR.

If Plax do end up here, he wil only help Lafell and Gettis. If Lafell and Gettis can't beat out one on one coverage against the third or fourth cb, it would be sad.

isnt this old news? and hasn't Hurney/Rivera been adament about developing our young wr's?

Uh, of course Hurney would say that. But when it comes down to it, Hurney also wants to win. Adding Plax would likely only affect Armanti as far as making the team. And the young guys have could learn a lot from Plax. He's a very physical receiver with good hands that would help the Panthers right away.

Whatever ends up happening with Plax, this is pretty awesome to hear a semi big-name free agent wanting to play here. We all knew Cam would have this effect with free agents, and it's great to see it happen already.

I was just bringing it up since he didnt say i want a tryout with any of the other 30 teams, he said Miami and Carolina. Had someone else brought it up already? I didnt think so. C'mon bro, use common sense.
