What's a reasonable price for a wedding photographer? I have a couple of acquaintances that do it and I plan on asking them but I don't know what the typical price range is. Not a big wedding, less than 100 people.

That's exactly what I have and I settled for $1,500. Figured less than $1,500 = super shitty camera and crap editing.

You get what you pay for...

Doesn't matter the size. Someone with 100 guests might pay $1500 or $5000. Make a budget and interview them

I think we have a professional photographer who posts here.

Can't remember his name, though

Well the person I know is absolutely top notch. She'd probably charge a few thousand at a minimum but I'm trying to get an idea of how much other people charge so I don't completely insult her with my offer. Not even sure she'd give me a deal as I don't know her real well, just a friend of a friend.

I was hoping Zod would chime in to see what he charges. Maybe he can give me the loyal huddler discount. B)

Ask her for a quote. They have different packages.

The guy we used is based out of Lexington and he was reasonable. It wasn't his full time job so he didn't charge the $1500 or so most people are going to to charge you. We got out with around $500, which included engagement, her bridal, and up to four hours of wedding.
