Some memorable stuff....

Helped Peyton Manning and Wesley Walls with their golf clubs.
Told Sarah Michelle Gellar's bodyguard that he couldn't play with his guns in the lobby.
Got caught staring at Halle Berry's rack. (Worth it)
Saw Famke Janssen getting dressed.
Talked to Jewel while she sat in a 2nd floor window and played guitar.
Elke Sommer kissed my cheek and bought me a beer.
The Wizards had training camp here a while back. Michael Jordan was going off because we lost his bag, saying people "stole his stuff to sell on EBay". Asked him if it was a red and blue bag. It was. Told front desk where that red/blue bag with no ID tag was supposed to go. Wanted to tell someone else where to go.

Met Richard Pryor once along with his agent/bodyguard or who ever that dude was, Wasn't really a conversation just a greeting.

Gerald Ford when president...my college band played hail to the Chief and I was in the ruffles and flourishes section...shook his hand.

College band also played backup for Bob Barker...nice guy, came and talked with us when he did not have to. Seemed very genuine.

Played a gig with Buddy Morrow (jazz trombonist) he was awesome, and also a hell of a nice guy. Such an amazing talent. He sat with me and chatted a while after our rehearsal. Seemed so kind.

Bill Berry...founding member and drummer of REM. Also I fired him from a restaurant job. Did not want to. Really liked him. Others called him weird. I found him thoughtful, interesting, and very nice. He was so excited about the band. Remember him telling me about the name they had picked and what it meant.

Hershel Walker...thighs like tree trunks.

Edwin Newman

Shawn Cassidy

Barbara Berry

Vincent Gardinia

Tim Shriver...awesome speaker...and so handsome. Acts as if he cares about everyone he meets. Eyes that connect.

THE Vincent Gardinia?

Lewis Grizzard rocked! The guy had been married like 5 times. Had a pig valve in his heart. His dog "shotgun".

He was one guy I wished I could have met.

He was really nice ... It was interesting, though. He got stage fright before each show, so after being introduced to me, he had another drink, and went off into the hallways to pace and work it out. His crew started feeding me Fuzzy Navels because I was so nervous! then, Lewis came back, told me not to be nervous, then read my intro notes -- loved them and autographed them for me. It was a fun night.
