That say he needs to go - what quarterback that is available now may become available would you replace him with?

Try to keep your answers real. For example - the Jets won't be releasing The Golden Calf of Bristol this season so he isnt an option.

armanti edwards...as the emergency back up (which is all clausen could aspire to at the moment and what he wasn't even capable of achieving last year).

clausen is unnecessary and incapable of the running, scrambling (to buy time and let plays develop downfield), and deep throws necessary to succeed.

anderson could at least handle the deep throws part and to an extent keeping the play alive.

not sure why anyone cares about clausen at this point, though. seriously? defending his roster spot on the team?
best thing for him, actually, is to be released so he can get picked up by a team who's offense he actually fits (or at least fits better than here).

Clausen's deep ball accuracy is horrible, god forbid he has to step in. Then Chud would have to pull out his wallet sized playbook.

Clausen was a huge part of that horrible 2010 season...so what's the point? You could bring in any crappy QB to do what Clausen can do as a 3rd stringer.

Jimmy's last year, so I say we keep him on until the end of the season. Then look for a rookie to groom, while Anderson keeps his 2nd string QB roll.

Only thing is, I deeply believe if Chud leaves, Anderson will follow Chud to his next team. Most likely wherever Chud goes, they will not have a good QB, and Anderson would be a good stop gap QB, that knows his system.
