How was this list Calculated? Based off of what?

From article

For those not familiar with our Pass Rushing Productivity stat it’s pretty simple. It’s not just about sacks, and it’s not just about total pressure numbers. No, it adds a degree of context by looking at just how much a player rushes the passer while valuing hits and hurries at 75% of sacks

Wow, I thought my liking of CJ was just due to pure homerism.

Surprised about Jared Allen.

I think PFF favors guys who are asked to pass rush more than be overall DEs. I think that reflects in Allen and Pep's ranking.

The article was specifically interned for solely showing who were the most productive pass rushers. There overall rankings show Allen and Peppers both in the top seven.

That makes more sense then...

I also would assume 2009 is what puts Johnson in their top 10. If I recall that year in spot duty he was off the charts almost on their pass rushing charts

So no Terrel Suggs then? Makes sense that its based on the pass rush but where is the Sizzle then?

2009 was mighty impressive and certainly helped. But the 2010 season was ridiculous , he led all DE's in three or four major statistical categories.
