I got a feeling this Chos gonna turn that pick into a pick this year. say 24 from the cavs and a 1st next year to move back around 10 or so.

That's good to hear - can't help but wonder if a vet would consider retirement over playing here, but I guess not when there is still 26 million out there to be made.

I find it funny that the Observer isn't reporting this trade yet - wake up Bonnell. LOL

Bonnell is sleeping lol

Barnes is their man. No way they trade unless they know he is there at #4.

Drafts and trades before Cho....sucked.

Move after hiring Cho....great move.

I would say the glaring difference is Cho, not MJ.

Being smart enough to hire a talent like Cho and let him do his thing was MJ's great move.

This, and letting Larry Brown rape this roster as often as he wanted has a lot to do with the mess we are in now. He needed to get the right personnel guy in place and just step back and let him put a team together. Kudos to MJ for swallowing some pride.

Exactly. Very successful businessmen are the ones who know when to get involved and when to get out of the way and let others do their thing for you.

Kudos to MJ for letting Cho do his thing.

Jordan will bring a championship to NC. I don't know why anybody was mad when he bought the team. My dog would make a better owner than Bob Johnson. Besides, Jordan is the only man I can think of who can bring the trophy to NC.

So we get the shooter that we needed and a very lightly protected first for agreeing to take on another year of salary? That is a sweet deal.

As for who we draft, I would still take the best player even if say a Beal leaves us with a logjam at shooting guard. We should get a building piece with the 2nd overall pick, not a guy that fills out the roster.
