None of these deserved their own thread IMO, but at least it's some panther reading material for the morning.

An article that contains negative statements about the play of both Jenkins and Harper deserves to be read!

Plus rewatching that run is just kinda fun.

Good article about the Panther option attack and why it works. The counter option is particularly effective because it starts the action one way and then sends it the other way on a misdirection play. Both Stewart and Williams are quick to the outside and with our usual good blocking TEs and WRs, once we reach the second level it is a foot race to the endzone. I expect we will see more of this type of misdirection particularly with over-pursuing defenses.

Umm no
To many questions last year. This year I know what my team can do so I'm even more excited to see them.

last year was more miserable because of the lockout and the constant "news updates" and being so anxious to get the bad taste of the 2010 season out of our mouths and the uncertainty of this new team along with all the pissing about cam both pre and post draft.

that offseason too forever.

this one....i'm excited, but i was more anxious to get that one over with.

I can't Look at taints defensive players without assuming those guys are pissed that they didn't get in he cheap shot on someone. I despise them and the corrupt poo hole of a city they represent.
Why he’s No. 18 in 2012: Johnson will turn 26 in July. He’s still young and there is plenty of room for him to grow as a pass-rusher. With a healthy Ron Edwards at defensive tackle, I think Johnson could see fewer blockers. Carolina trailed a lot of the time last season, so Johnson didn’t have a huge amount of opportunities for sacks. I think Carolina’s overall defense should be better and the offense can get this team some leads. That could force other teams to pass more often. That’s why I have little doubt Johnson will get back to producing double-digit sacks.
