So last night I was sitting on the couch and my wife straddled my lap to talk about something.  She said something I didn't like, so I effortlessly stood up with her still in my lap and easily put her down on the couch.

 

Squats.

I cut down a couple of pounds last week, but I'm ready to make a run at slow bulking to 185.

 

Last night I benched 185x3, but It was also like my fifth set.  Had I done it in an earlier set, I probably could've gotten 7 or 8.

Little moments like that are one of the main reasons I love working out.

 

I can easily carry my 7 year old boy no problem. Now should I be carrying him as much as I do is another story. :)

Deadlift again yesterday and bested my current max.  Tried 370 again and got 4 so decided to add 50 and go for it, did 420x1 for my last set.

 

It was heavy but not as bad as I had thought it would be.  I'm content now with reaching 400+lbs.

lol @ ever being content with deadlifts

 

go for 500 baby. 38 pounds away for me at 175 bw

 

 

pardon the scream. i get really amped up when i pr deadlift
