I was gonna bump this today anyway... Thanks PSC.

How's everyone doing?

Despite my hurt arm and back, I've been going consistently still... Even on days I don't feel like it...

Been doing more cardio than lifting lately, gonna switch back to more lifting in about two weeks.

i'm easing back into it. couple of muscles are achy, but i'm going to stick to aerobic style lifting until i toughen up so i don't have to walk around like a bag of smushed meat.

i know, no pain no gain. i'll be living by that principle soon enough.

Yeah, unless I really go nuts on one specific thing now, I rarely get sore anymore. Sometimes my chest will still get sore after chest day, but its not bad.

I suspect when I get back to more lifting vs more aerobic stuff and especially if I start going really heavy which is the plan.

after a certain point, my muscles begin to crave that kind of soreness

Good for you PSC. The first few weeks suck ass. Once you get passed that, its not too bad.

I know what you're saying. I hit the gym 6 days a week, 3 weight training, 3 cardio. I use my day off to do lawn work, so it appeases that desire to do some physical activity.

I'm the same way on both counts... I love that post workout feeling and if I miss a day, even a scheduled day off, I don't feel right. I'm totally addicted to working out.

I'm going to start train for a 10k in January. That will be the start of my cutting phase. I plan on getting down to about 8% body fat.

I've been a slob for the past three months and I feel the difference.

I'm trying to let myself go for a bit just to see a ridiculous improvement. I had gotten back into running shape over the summer - nothing spectacular, 20 minute 5k. I haven't done that since I was in high school so you marathon runners can eat it.

But I'll be getting back into my routine come the new year. Right now I have this weird 4 pack/ love handle combo thing going on. that's going bye-bye.
