i'm glad they didn't go that way, or it would be no better than true blood
anyway, peanut mnms are probably the reason i don't weigh 5-10 lbs less than i do. but since i got that canoe my back has stopped aching and my energy levels are higher
out of all the boats i've been on, i find the canoe experience to be really unique, as in being more intimately connected with the water and surrounding environment. the sense of vulnerability in one compared to larger craft enhances your awareness and brings you in tune with things you wouldn't normally notice. plus its great exercise. i can only imagine a kayak would be even better in many ways.
therapeutic exercise i would classify it as, working a pretty good range of muscles and even the core. especially dragging it in and out of the water full of fishing gear and poo

Someone wanna help me get into a nice routine? I've been lazy as hell, and although I'm not gaining weight, I'm clearly out of shape and I'm not looking too muscular at all haha.
I used to box, but I fell out of it around finals and just stopped going all together once school was done. After you stop, it's hard as hell to get back into shape for those workouts.
What's a good way to get myself back into working out frequently and gaining more weight through muscle? I guess I wanna know a good starting workout and maybe even nutrition "routine". All I do is play tennis for about 5-9 hours a week.
I'm 18 years old, 5'11 and 135-140 by the way, pretty darn skinny.
Thanks for any help, workout geniuses.
Boxing and tennis can both be a pretty intense cardio workout. I think all you need to do is keep that up, add some weight training and your body will fill out naturally in a few years.
When I was 18 I was about your same height and 160 lbs. I was Ridiculously skinny, but I was unbelievable cut. A few years later, I hadn't gained any fat, but I put on about 45 pounds in a matter of months. My shoulders and chest got massive. People I hadn't seen in years freaked out when they'd seen the transformation.
Later on, I injured my back and stopped working out completely and got the gut to match my shoulders and chest. About 5 months ago, I got the go ahead from my doctors to get back into it. I got my six pack back rather quickly. I'm concentrating on flexibility and cardio to prevent future injuries.

My dog, Izzy that I got two 1/2 weeks ago is so awesome, I have trained her to run right beside me. We've now run twice both times 3 miles...she kicks ass...
I now have a running partner who I don't have to worry about talking and irritating me
This would work with my dog until we saw this...
Which would probably take 30 seconds from the house... and he'd be gone.
