That's basically the principal behind it... It takes the stress off your spine and the danger out of having that weight up high.

Speaking of curls, I've been hitint the preachers bench pretty hard recently. Feels great, but definitely affects my pull ups and rows. Gonna keep it going, but do them on a separate day. Also thinking about jumping on the bench press (something I haven't done in a while due to shoulder issues) for a week or two doing 8 second reps.

Did chest yesterday for the first time this week and the first time since I hurt my neck... it's amazing how much your neck affects your balance on chest workouts...  needless to say it wasn't my best day.

Weighed in this morning and woah. I'm down way too much. Really need to alter my diet plan and start eating more. I've been so focused on losing my beer gut for about 4 months now that I've neglected muscle mass. Think I've finally reached the point where I'm not afraid to eat a little more since in also lifting more now.

Did deadlifts today and concentrated on proper form and keeping my ass out. Could only go up to 275 today but honestly I think part of that is because my shins are so sore from jump roping. The pressure of lifting was re-aggravating my legs and I think it held me back.

I'm obsessed with jumping rope now but I need to give it some days off before I get a stress fracture. I've been going at it almost every day. Yesterday I started running down my street while jumping rope. It was a good workout but my shins were in so much pain I had to lay down for about 40 mins and take an ibuprofen.

yeah definitely do not jump rope on concrete if you can help it :\

wooden decks are great, something with a little flex that gives back

This is true. I've been trying to avoid concrete where possible. My gym's basketball courts are wood floor so I use it a lot. I've also started jumping rope in the weight room when there aren't a lot of people around and I have plenty of space. The mats in their are much more forgiving on my ankles.

I really want to give this chest workout a try, changes things up:

http://www.bodybuild...st-workout.html:

Craig is supposed to have a fitness plan come in June, so I might give it a try.

Also looking to try this for finishing out triceps day:

Sounds good. Yeah, I doubt we can do the speed of it with two people.

It will take me 30 secs to get on the decline bench.

It could be the smartest shirt on the planet.

Packed with sensors, the new Omsignal shirt has health sensors sewn into its fabric to constantly monitor the wearer.

It can track heart rate, breathing rate, breathing volume, movement (including steps and cadence), movement intensity, heart rate variability and calories burned.
