I know I am wasting my time, but hell, after being married this long, time is probably the only thing left she can't ration.
What is more idiotic? Being idiotic, or replying to idiotic? In my travels I have met many types of people. And I have found that if you ignore the behavior, it goes away and pesters someone else.
Just a tidbit of wisdom. Do with it what you will. And GOOOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
