CB2-Captain
SS-Godfrey
FS-Sherrod Martin
In nickle situations Captain will cover the slot and Josh Norman will move to the outside.
That is what I expect to happen. Not what I would like to happen. We have some cap room I could see us bringing in someone still.

ibt"let's wait before we put norman in the probowl"comments
just based on whats happened so far this offseason it sounds like norman might be the guy to beat, but i think it's really a toss-up for the #2 CB spot between norman, butler, and hogan.
i'm also anxious to see what kind of effect wilks has on the safeties but i can see nakamura beating out martin.

CB2-Norman
Nickel- Munnerlyn/Hogan
SS-Godfrey
FS-Nakamura
I give Naka the edge over Reggie Smith and i see Martin looking for work elsewhere.

i hope hogan can make some plays and earn some playing time
Sounds like he's been the 4th best so far, though they haven't worn anything more than shorts, shirts, and helmets.
I hope he can find his way back into the mix too, we need him to show the other DB's how to hit.

More concerning than the one practice we had access to is the not so ringing endorsements from his teammates. Jordan Gross said before the draft that he did not want Janoris Jenkins because they already had a difficult guy to deal with at corner.

If he or Norman can step it up big time and we find a safety, I would feel better about Godfrey's freelancing.
