Kidd has agreed to terms with the Knicks, which means they will most likely not be retaining Lin.

Good pickup by the Knicks though.

Also Carl Lowry was traded from Houston to Toronto for Gary Forbes and a future protected first rounder.

Now that Houston has gotten rid of Lowry and Dragic, my guess is that they will go after Lin.

New York has made a mistake bringing in Jason Kidd. He is playing on his last legs. They could have developed Lin further and have something special there, but he is probably headed to Houston now. (They offered 30-40 million deal for him)

I think adding Kidd will be good for the short term but at the end of the day, it won't win them a Championship.

Lin isn't as good as people make him out to be, I predict that he will struggle a little in Houston.

Any who, I expect the Knicks to get into the playoff's between the fifth and eighth spots.

This time last year, Mark Cuban was being heralded as a genius and the Mavericks of Dallas were basking in their 2011 Championship. In 1 calendar year they have lost Tyson Chandler (2012 DPOY), JJ Barea, Deshawn Stevenson, Caron Butler, Corey Brewer, Jason Terry, and now Jason Kidd. Throw in the Lamar Odom experiment fail and its been pretty bad for their management lately.

Dallas had hoped to lure Deron and Dwight, but looks like neither are headed to Texas. Dirk must be thrilled right now.

Odd that guys arent returning to Dallas. Its either Cuban is low balling them because ultimately he is going to be going after some bigger fish or they just hate playing in Dallas. IDK.

Rumor that Indy may not match Portland's offer for Hibbert.

$hit if anyone that we could/should or want to bring in, it should be Hibbert. I'm the first to say that we should save the cap and rebuild through the draft by high lotto picks but if we have a chance at Hibbert, you do it. Bc next year more than likely we goin to take a big man bc that's our weakest spot anyway. And Hibbert is absolutely better than a Noel or Zeller now or next year.

If Indy doesn't match and we doest even try to Atleast offer Hibbert a match deal too, I'd be pist. I dnt care if Hibbert doesn't choose us. I just want us to at least try throwing money at someone as big as Hibbert who would help our team dramatically.

Brandon Roy is coming out of retirement to go to the T-Wolves. Looks like they are also making an offer to Blazers restricted FA Nic Batum, If the Wolves pull off both of those moves, they just became an intriguing team once Rubio returns from injury.

Portland will match according to all the reports I've seen. MN even offered a S&T package revolving around Derrick Williams, and Portland said no....
