#1 -- DO NOT stay in the Sunshine Inn, which is the closest (within walking distance) motel.

Within a 5-7 minute drive, there are:

Courtyard by Marriott
Fairfield Inn
Comfort Inn & Suites
Hampton Inn & Suites
Holiday Inn Express

We take in beer and bags, chairs, umbrellas..they don't really give a crap.if you act civilized
