Peppers would have been ecstatic the moment Cam had his breakout and he no longer had to be the leader or face of the franchise.

I think he and CJ would be pretty damn dominant. I don't think the feeling would be mutual with JR even if he did want to be here now.

i still have this little itch in the back of my brain that peppers will be back in carolina for a season or two during the twilight of his career. completely different culture now with fox out of the picture and cam will be the unquestioned face of the franchise.
mostly though i just want my authentic #90 jersey to be able to see the light of day again.

I think he'd like the team but he wanted out because we weren't a big & old franchise...so we let him out. He's one of those who simply wanted a change of scenery. That being said, he's a douchenozzle and I hope we annihilate the Bears this season and don't get jipped by some bs calls.
