yea it was like ridiculously polarized that whole thread

I didn't get involved and post though because I'd rather watch a train wreck than be a part of one

WHAT???

Monkeybutt and w280sax posted in the same thread, in the same day?

That shows you how tight the huddle was back then. I'm probably not as "well-known" as some from back then because I still haven't been to a Huddle Tailgate, but I remember everyone just from their posting styles.

There were so many posters who made this place what it was back then. The two mentioned above, Blindsite, KaKa Sensei, Fireball77, Cooter, all of the mods... This place made me feel at home when it came to my football team, and the personalities were still apparent even through the convolution that is the internet.

Again, RIP Cooter. I didn't know him as well as some here, but he was highly active back in the day and helped make this place what it was.

Yeah, I know she's posting under a different name now (although not as much), but still... those early days of the Huddle were awesome.

If Jase only had the entire picture that is his avatar, that's how I'll remember Sport. Oiling up Buddha on our Bear Cruise. And then suckling his nipple.

Cooter was kind of a malinformed blowhard about many things but I met him at a tailgate and had fun with him, he was a nice guy. I am truly sad to hear this and to lose a badly needed crazy redneck from our cheering section.

He and Livermush (is it Mush now) were the first two huddlers I ever met. Cooter and my friend held my legs doing a keg stand (in a skirt) at my first tailgate which I came to after a game.

He was good people. He did so much for many people behind the scenes that nobody knew about. Always smiling even when he had stuff going on. I was shocked to hear this and so saddened.
