Why would you rescind an offer to him when another team is willing to send you an asset for him. I'm telling you... Sometimes I feel like we start getting our sh*t together and then we do sh*t like this. How does this work in our best interest when another team is willing to give us SOMETHING for him? Bc his agents is telling him to not sign his contract with us bc they believes he could get a better offer elsewhere. Point is, he's not willing to sign with us so we can't trade him.

Augustin showed potential but he never seemed to be the type of competitor a team needs at the point guard position. Overall another disappointing draft pick. It'll be interesting to see how his career goes in the future. Raymond Felton was exceptional with the Knicks before returning to mediocrity with the Blazers.

Bonnell was saying on Twitter that they did it to free up cap space to go after other free agents like Humphries.
