Ya I still am in contract. Said due to economy I had to cancel Sunday ticket and now that these channels are gone that I watch all the time which I honestly don't, that I was just debating canceling anyways and going to xfinity. The first 2 offered me garbage but the last lady offered me this huge deal. Also the first 2 I never got transferred, I just dialed 0 and it went to them. The third I was transferred again so I think they might have been retention.

Couldn't land Sunday ticket. Got 15 off a month and the sports package for free. Working on my inter webz bill now

No. Like you, I'm halfway through a 2 yr contract. I played their promise infomercial against them. Said I agree with their stance that I shouldn't have to pay more for the same channels I already get, but shouldn't I pay less now that they no longer carry those stations? They agreed.
