Saw that as well,

It's down to

1. Jamison
2. Landry
3. Humphries

I want Humphries more out of those guys. Jamison can still ball but he's old and not a rebuilding block. Landry is okay only. Humphries is great of both side of the floor, scoring and rebounding. Rebounding is what we really need. I can live with a guy like Humphries avg 11rebounds a game in score 6 points less than Jamison a game. But not likely to happen bc he should be staying in Brooklyn. So with that said, play with who we already have on the team. No need to go get an old Jamison. Look for McAdoo to improve, if he do, draft the kid next year.

Gery Woelfel: Several teams courting Carl Landry with Golden State and Charlotte running neck and neck at front of pack. Twitter

Like Jordan Hill more than Landry and Jam. He's not as productive but has good size and decent rebounder. He's an UFA and shouldn't he be pretty cheap?

I think he would be a little more expensive than expected because he still has a pretty good upside as Landry and Jamison are both on the back-ends of their careers.

Hearing Jamison is less likely w/Nets unless, somehow, negotiations w/Humphries collapse. Per @rick_bonnell, Lakers, Bobcats also finalists.

I Dno if Lakers are really interest in Jam. Heard that Grant Hill was close in on signing with the Lake.

And can someone tell me how Stackhouse is still in the league?

Hopefully the Landry thing doesn't work out.

The Jamison thing, too.

I'd expect the Cats do go hard at Landry with Humphries likely re-signing with the Nets.

Antawn Jamison may soon agree to a contract with the Lakers, according to Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer.

The Bobcats were in pursuit of Jamison, so it makes sense that Bonnell would have an inside track on this decision. If he has decided on the Lakers, the promise of competing for a championship with Kobe and Steve Nash will have outweighed Jamison's desire to be near his Charlotte-based family, at least for one more year.

Antawn Jamison chooses Lakers over Bobcats

LAS VEGAS – The Charlotte Bobcats have lost out on free agent Antawn Jamison, who will sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Observer has learned.

The Bobcats were recruiting free agent Jamison as both a power forward and a veteran mentor to a young team. Jamison was torn between the chance to play for his hometown team or to pursue a championship with what figures to be his last NBA contract.

The Brooklyn Nets were also in the running for the two-time All-Star who played for
Providence High before starring at North Carolina.

The Bobcats are still pursuing Kris Humphries and Carl Landry in free-agency, to address the power forward position.
