So is Ben Tate but they aren't giving him $40M to split carries

One good year vs weak competition

Show me any DWill thread and watch the same old arguments by the same people pop up like wildflowers.

DWill is not as good as Stewart. DWill is the 3rd best fit for the offense we run. DWill is injury prone. DWill is a 2 down back. DWill is vastly overpaid. DWill is a poor receiver. DWill can't block.

What did I miss?

I don't know how Williams is not a good fit in the offense and he's not really injury prone. Stewart is the guy that's always on the injury report.

Williams has been the more consistent receiving back over the years.

dwill's career 5.1 ypc average is the best in the nfl.

dwill and jim brown are friends.

barry sanders runs like dwill.

dwill is better than all the backs in the nfl that have had a larger workload and are a bigger asset to their team in a shorter time frame than him.

Stewart is the RB who has played with injuries....missed 2 games in his career. Williams has missed 13 in that same timeframe.

Stewart is the only RB who performed well in the passing game....in an actual passing offense

Jamaal Charles has a 6+ career ypc

that makes him better than Williams

Being better than Williams means the Earth may implode at any moment.

If we were a good team in 2010 DW wouldn't have been put on IR. He wasn't too hot.
Williams and Stewart both have thir advantages and disadvantages

Without Williams we won't have a back that could break a 65 yd run anytime

Almost 996 caries for williams
Only one rb has ever had 1000 carries and averaged over 5.0 ypc (Jim Brown)

Stewart can go the distance... Not sure why it is so popular to think he can only run over people.

What are Stewart's disadvantages?

that's what the mayans predicted...in december the world will recognize that jamaal charles is the undisputed king of ypc and not deangelo williams, forcing God Almighty to crumble up the earth like a piece of paper and start over.

Charles is at 6.1 500 carries into his career....which is better than Williams was at that mark.

Several RBs have over 1000 carries and a career 5+ ypc....

The actual Williams stats while impressive is a cherry picked one to a large degree
