The vast majority of guys who do full season standing predictions generally just look at where everybody finished last season and make a tweak or two. That's why you see people picking repeat Super Bowls (despite the fact they rarely happen) or picking last year's runner up to win it all.

a favorite past time of the forum back in the day was to post prisco game predictions every week and talk about how the opposite of his prediction always happened. there would always be this negative vibe on the forum when he said we would win and the complete opposite if he predicted a loss. somehow a legion of panther fans were convinced that prisco's ineptitude at predicting games was influencing the team's performance game to game.

The reality is that at times Gabbert was jumpy in the pocket early on last season. But that waned as the season moved along, as he became more comfortable. I say most of the problems were brought on by bad mechanics and a bad system.

It's fixable. Gabbert will not be a bust -- even if most of you think he will be.

Yeah basically the entire article, which was not written by Risky Pete Prisco, details how the Panthers have improved all across the board. I bet Will Brinson cringed when he saw his name attached to that idiotic prediction.
