The entire discussion about Gay rights in comparison to Black civil rights is really a slippery slope. Wil Wheaton caught some flack over this very subject a couple of months ago. He made a statement about how black people should automatically feel for gay rights and black people (at least the ones that came in contact with his statement) didn’t take it too well. They personally didn’t appreciate the comparison.

His family may have released that statement, but Dr King was a little looser with his definition of marriage in practice
